Valve Chic

Alternate title: "What happens when my geeky side and my girly side collide" :T

Pictured are Chell from Portal 2, Alyx Vance from Half Life 2, and Zoey from Left 4 Dead. Three very awesome female video game characters from 3 of my favorite game franchises. I love Valve games so much. They are so quality, and seem to know pretty well how to go about creating female characters. I'm not as big into fashion as I want to be, but sometimes I get that urge to let my latent girliness shine through and play dress-up, even if just through drawing. These girls are sort of icons to me and I thought it would be super fun to pay tribute to them in this way.

"Strong" doesn't necessarily mean "masculine." I wanted to show a more stylish side of them and yet include tokens representing their physical fortitude in-game (namely, guns and blood splatters ).

The outfit I'd most likely wear is Alyx's. I actually have a couple shirts similar to hers. Shotguns are BOSS.
